Healthy weight loss diet

February 18th, 2010

It is a myth that by not eating much or completely starving yourself for a few days will help you to lose weight. This is untrue due to the clever way in which your ody works. For example, one might assume that as no nutrition is entering your body that the weight will dopr off, infact, the opposite happens. By starving your body of its vital requirements your boy instead, will store the fat that you have as it doesn’t know when it will receive it’s next meal. It will be some time until this fat reserve is used up and weight begins to be lost.

Crash dieting causes the same issues, a lot of people seem to be confused as to why they do not work. Your body cannot adjust quickly enough to such a rapid change in diet so almost freezes itself as a form of self preservation. The human body tends to rspond more effectively to slower changes like eating a more balances diet and upping your level of exercise gradually. No shock is caused to the system and the body will be able to adjust itself within a normal time period.

If you decide to simply cut down on foods, you will not only lose all of the natural vital nutrients within your bosy, but it can cause great fatigue and illness. Once it gets to a certain point, your body is porgrammed to slowly begin shutting down one organ at a time and the consequences can be extremely dire. If you are considering drastically changing your diet or lifestyle, always consult your Doctor first.
